it was only the game freezing, however i figured it out from here https://teddit.pussthecat.org/r/wine_gaming/comments/mly6sn/window_freeze_after_unfocusing/

basically Try setting up virtual desktop for this application.

and this:

I found several threads such as https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=30304 and https://askubuntu.com/questions/299286/how-to-recover-focus-after-losing-it-while-using-wine, themselves mentioning other threads, and the common fix was the following (rephrased):
  1. Open Regedit with Wine (~/.wine/drive_c/windows/regedit.exe or /home/leyn/.wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/regedit.exe)
  2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\X11 Driver, creating Key "X11 Driver" if it does not exist
  3. Create a new String entry named "UseTakeFocus" with value "N"
